About
Mary Nease
I am a fashion designer currently based in North Carolina and I specialize in denim development and size inclusive design. I graduated magna cum laude from UNC Greensboro in 2022 with my degree in apparel design and I am presently completing my masters in textiles at North Carolina State University's prestigious Wilson College of Textiles (I'm due to graduate May 2024). I am passionate about fashion technology and believe you never stop learning (my current design obsession is using lasers with denim and this semester I'm learning how to design for knitting machines). My work has been featured at the International Textile and Apparel Association's annual conference, I have received local and national awards for my work, and in 2022 I received a VF Corp Student Impact Grant for my research in size inclusive design.
